Position Description: 
The online outreach manager oversees the ministry website and social media platforms.

Position Qualifications: 

  • Maintain website, ensuring content is updated and relevant
  • Manage ministry’s social media channels and promotion, including messaging and measurement
  • Coordinate content for Equip Online Education Center (gather articles, podcasts, videos, solicit contributors)
  • Coordinate blog content and writers
  • Manage Arise Ministries mobile app
  • Follow brand/style guidelines
  • Work as a cooperative and supportive team member
  • Ability to work under quick guidelines

Position Requirements:

  • Proficient in social media platforms
  • Well-versed in Google analytics
  • Simple graphic design skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills

Hours and Salary:
Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
Work remotely
Flexible hours


Position Description:
The volunteer coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for people who are interested in volunteering for Arise Ministries.  This person will also serve as a representative of the ministry to the community.

Position Qualifications:

  • Manage recruitment, retention, and support of volunteers
  • Schedule volunteers
  • Manage volunteer database
  • Assist with volunteer activities and projects - involves a few weekends/evenings
  • Develop a volunteer appreciation program including writing and sending thank you notes
  • Create volunteer updates and e-newsletter
  • Promote Arise Ministries to community
  • Help build relationships with churches and organizations
  • Assist with ministry events (planning, organizing)

Position Requirements:

  • Friendly and personable
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Some event management helpful

Hours and Salary:
Part-Time (5-10 hours per week)

Position Description:

The financial administrator will handle all accounting work for the ministry including communication with donors.

Position Qualifications:

  • Manage accounts payable
  • Prepare checks for deposit
  • Create and send acknowledgement letters to donors
  • Process online monthly donations
  • Reconcile asset accounts
  • Document all transactions
  • Maintain donor database in DonorPerfect
  • Create and organize financial records
  • Communicate with donors when needed
  • Compile financial reports for Board meetings

Position Requirements:

  • Proficient with Quickbooks
  • Knowledge of working with donor software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Pleasant people skills for communicating with donors

Hours and Salary:

Contract position
5-8 hours per week; additional hours needed during busy seasons (before a special event, end-of-year donations, etc.)
Flexible hours and some tasks can be performed remotely
